FINALLY FINISHED! It took me forever to do...but I guess that's what happens when I start a new drawing, vow from hereon in to put more time, effort and detail into my paintings (I mean, I spent a whole hour just on her skin, which, back in my old days of half-assing it, would have been the amount of time I'd have taken to paint most of the picture), and THEN get saddled with exams, an 8000 word dissertation, and other such things, which put a temporary stop to my already slow progress.

Anyhows. Theme 38, "abandoned." This, like most of my 100 themes pictures, ties in with my novel - here we have Melissa, strike team 1's DEMO MAN (well, girl) in the falling-apart, mostly uninhabited ruins of Ban Drezzith, a once-proud Underdark city destroyed by war. (Of course, in the novel Melissa wouldn't be wearing heels like that out on a mission, or anything that clingy and revealing, but I call artistic license!) Here we go. Post-apocalyptic themes, urban decay, attractive drow in black leather...these are a few of my favourite things. :sings:
