This took me ages, and some of the individual bits are in my gallery by themselves. Here's the finished piece though. I've been having fun with photomanipulation lately, and I wanted to do a big piece.

It's supposed to be a sort of poster-esque bit of artwork for the 6th instalment in the series I'm writing, this particular instalment being set in a grim but awesome future in the Underdark in which traditional drow society (thanks to the war 15-20 years previously, and the fall of a number of the big cities) has all but collapsed, leaving only six warring factions and an expansive wasteland.

Here we have three of the characters from said 6th instalment, all quite important members of the "rebel" faction (well, they were rebels when the old order still stood. Now they're just a group of people trying to hold their own out there in the wasteland.) From left to right: Veldrin, the infamous "badass of Ban Drezzith", long-time member of the rebel army, and veteran of the war that started it all; Sszeth, the hacker, their "byte monkey, foot-soldier in cyberspace" and The Agent, the genius mastermind behind the rebel army.

I can't remember precisely what the faded pink writing says, but I think it's something like "yesterday we watched the destruction of the world; today we rose from its smoking rubble" or words to that effect. I originally wanted it to look like a neon sign, but it didn't work out, so I just made it faded, peeling writing instead...and for some reason it's pink.
