◆When did you start drawing? What did you draw?
I've been doodling since childhood, like most kids...I started drawing as a hobby when I was about 12 though. I started with animals, then moved onto people.

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
Right.

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Male. Men are basically square, so they're easy to draw. Women are a bit of a more complicated shape.

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Long hair. Short hair can be a bitch to draw for some reason, and getting the shape of the skull right and the ears in the correct place without hair as a reference point is hard.

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Left.

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front on. Profiles are a little tricky.

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Hands and feet. Also (don't laugh), breasts. Srsly. It's hard to get them looking normal, especially when you're like me and want to draw female characters who are a variety of body shapes you'd actually see on a person instead of anime-chicks with balloons down their fronts.

◆What do you like to draw?
My novel characters. They're a varied bunch with their own distinctive faces, bodies and personalities, which makes them fun to draw.

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Digital, although the line-art is done with pencil.

◆Where do you start drawing from?
A stick-man for the body, starting at the head. Then I'll flesh it out, then add details and clothes, then the background.

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Characters having messy hair,

◆What do you keep in mind when you do lineart?
Whether everyone's limbs are in the right place, where I've positioned everything on the page, etc.

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
Put in time and effort. I used to really half-ass my colouring, but I've been so much more proud of my work now I've started taking longer over it.

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Between one afternoon and a whole week.

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
An absolute butt-load of stuff. My music collection consits of rock, metal, industrial, and movie soundtracks though, so things from those genres.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Uh, they just pop up.

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Pencil, rubber, wacom tablet.

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Shades of red and grey.

◆Your favorite style(s)?
Stuff with an absurd amount of detail in it; surreal and dark/morbid art (although I've not done any of that myself lately), and the occasional bit of minimalistic stuff.

◆Are you satisfied with your current art?
Yes, but there's always room to improve.

◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
I want to make a webcomic.
